Our Music and Our Lives

​We are an alternative rock band with heavy blues lead influences. We draw our inspirations from life and the things we experience every day. There will always be songs about breaking up and falling in love, but we choose to write about the feelings and experiences we have faced personally. That may include a story about an Ultimate Frisbee game, a movie that we’ve never seen, or a heartbreak over losing someone we’ve never met. We write about fear of loneliness, conquering your demons, and being inspired enough to never let anyone tell you no. We are Blaster Burner Funk and our art does more than imitate life. It is our life.

Blaster Burner Funk is made up of Aaron Reynolds, Simba Gifford, Gif GIfford, and Seth Martin. (From left to right) and are located in Montgomery, AL. Our First single "Regret" was recorded in April and more music is on the way.
